Puree
Pear Puree is a multipurpose product that can be used in an array of finished products, from simply diluting with water to reach a brix of between 66 and 68 to create a refreshing delicious drink, to creating Sweets, Ice Creams, and Beers or even to use in baking. Pears are high are antioxidants and vitamins and a deliver a crisp, delicate refreshing flavour.
To create the puree, pears are processed through a modern vacuuming procedure and frozen to -18 degrees. The pear puree is then packed in aseptic bags and metallic drums. It has an acidity of 0.14-0.5 and should be stored between 4 and 10 degrees Celsius once defrosted. Puree is bagged in volumes of 2,3,5,10 and 25 Litres. Each bag will be fitted with a tap and the tap can be positioned at any point on the bag, allowing you to utilise the bags in any manufacturing and production settings you require. The packaging used is strong and durable with a high breaking strength and thermal protection ensuring the product inside remains as high quality as they day it was packaged giving you consistency of flavour acidity and texture.
