Lemon Pulp Cells – Natural Lemon Pulp Cells with High Fruit Content

Lemon Pulp Cells are natural citrus vesicles obtained by separating the pulp from the freshly squeezed juice of ripe Citrus limon fruit. The pulp cells are gently pasteurized and frozen to preserve their natural texture, aroma and visual fruit perception without added preservatives, colours, essences, sulphur dioxide or alcohol.

These cells act as textural fruit particulates that enhance body and mouthfeel in finished products while delivering authentic lemon character. Lemon milled pulp cells are also available, and the same quality is applied.

Lemon pulp cells – Key Technical Characteristics

Our Lemon Pulp Cells present a well-balanced physicochemical profile, suitable for demanding industrial formulations:

  • Soluble solids: > 6 ºBrix

  • Natural pH: 2–3

  • Acidity: 4–6% as citric acid

  • Pulp content: 60–85%, providing body and visible fruit texture

  • Appearance: thick paste

  • Color: pale yellow

  • Flavour and taste: clean acidic profile, without off-flavours or foreign tastes

Raw lemons are sent to manufacturing facilities with the latest technologies for their processing and packing, meanwhile maintaining all the properties of the fruit and leaving it ready for its worldwide supply.
