Comminute is a type of fruit puree made by crushing the whole fruit, including the outer layers. As with many fruits, the skin of the Pink Grapefruit contains lots of beneficial nutrients, which are often discarded in other methods of production.
The grapefruit is believed to be a naturally occurring hybrid of the sweet orange and pomelo, discovered in Barbados and named for the grape-like clusters, in which it grows. This fruit is often considered to be the most palatable, with a perfect combination of sweet and tart flavour.
