Natural Citral
Our Natural Citral is obtained directly from Litsea Cubeba plants (May Chang in Chinese) grown in some regions of China. It’s organoleptic properties are very similar to Lemon Essential Oil, but the purity of our Natural Citral is 96% Citral.
Natural Citral – Experienced Supplier
For the elaboration of Natural Citral we exclusively use optimal Litsea Cubeba cultivated in China and some other parts of Asia.
Our process
We remove the essential oil from the plant, which has a very similar organoleptic profile to the Lemon oil because of the high content of citral and then we distill the oil in order to concentrate the citral to the highest levels.
Lemon oil is around 3% citral, whilst our pure natural product is 96% Citral, that’s the reason why it is commonly used in the flavours and citrus market.
