Lemon Essential Oil – Cold Pressed   Our Lemon Essential Oil is obtained with a cold pressed method through a mechanical process, without any thermal treatment. The peels of fruits of different Spanish varieties of Citrus Limon are processed, then the water and oil are separated with centrifugation, and finally the product is decanted and filtered to obtain Lemon Essential Oil. For the elaboration of this oil we exclusively use lemons cultivated in the Mediterranean region, with its wonderful climate: warm during the day and slightly cold at night; which is the main reason of our lemon’s intense flavour and freshness. Lemon Essential Oil has many different applications, but it is mainly used in flavourings and in the beverage sector. It looks like a fluid clear liquid; its color is yellow, and its taste and flavour are typical of fresh lemon. A chilled storage between 4 and 10 degrees Celsius is recommended for this product. It is also free from preservatives, essences, and colour, and produced according to G.M.P. requirements. Lemon Essential Oil is alcohol-free. Some of the Lemon Essential Oil´s health benefits are: it helps people suffering from insomnia; it eliminates dandruff and strengthens the hair, it treats indigestion, acidity and cramps; it is used in asthma treatments, it is an excellent stress buster, it helps weight loss, it boosts the immune system and it is effective against fever, malaria and typhoid.
