The Melon and Guava Concentrate is a mix of concentrates of melon and guava. It is ideal for the production of soft drinks and beverages and can be reconstituted by dilution in water in order to reach the Brix grades of ready to drink product.
On one hand, the melon is a very healthy fruit and its seeds contain high levels of potassium. On the other hand, guavas release a very intense fragrance and their flavour can be either sweet or sour, depending on the maturity of the fruit. Therefore, the combination of both fruits is ideal for the elaboration of a tasty and healthy product, especially in the food and beverage sector. Our Melon and Guava Concentrate is normally packed in aseptic, in metallic, cone-shaped drums, covered with plastic lids. To avoid the product from losing its properties, storage between 4 and 10 degrees Celsius is recommended.

Guavas are rich in dietary fiber and vitamin C, and contain some folic acid. They have very few calories, but contain many essential nutrients. A single guava fruit contains about four times the amount of vitamin C as an orange. Due to all these properties, it is used as a remedy for scurvy, reduces diarrhea symptoms, lessens risk of prostate cancer and breast cancer, helps lose weight, prevents cold and viral infections, regulates sugar in diabetics, improves skin texture, and improves brain health and thyroid health. Melons have high levels of dietary fiber too, so they help to reduce “bad” cholesterol in the body, eliminate gastrointestinal issues, and reduce the likelihood to overeat. Also, due their high potassium content, it reduces blood pressure, therefore lowering the chances of developing coronary heart disease, or suffering a stroke/heart attack.

Kaki and Guava Concentrate makes with Kaki fruit that contains a big amount of antioxidants which makes it one of the healthiest fruits. All kakis have high water content, and more calories than other fruits. One of components of the kaki that should be highlighted is beta-carotene. This vitamin gives the fruit its colour. Beta-carotene, also known as provitamin A, is converted into vitamin A in our body as it is needed. Vitamin A is essential for vision, skin, hair, mucous membranes, bones and a proper functioning of the immune system.
